Terms and Conditions

(1) Orthoptists must register and book accommodation with Orthoptics Australia. Please visit www.orthoptics.org.au for more details.

(2) Early Bird Rate
To qualify for early bird registration, registration fees must be received by the 24 September 2024. Registration fees are based on date of payment receipt, not the date of receipt of registration form.

(3) Late Rate (Fellows and RANZCO CPD Customers only)
The late rate will apply to registrations and/or payments received from 16 October 2024.

(4) Onsite Rates
Onsite rates (an additional $100 on top of the standard rate) apply to all attendees for registrations processed from 1 November 2024 at Congress.

(5) Member Rates
To qualify for member rates, you must be a financial member of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. Your membership status will be verified upon registration. Please contact RANZCO directly for further details at ranzco@ranzco.edu

If your application for membership is still in process, you don’t have to wait for receipt of confirmation of your membership status in order to register at the member rate for the Congress. We will check your membership status closer to the Congress date, or you can send an email to ranzco@thinkbusinessevents.com.au once your membership is confirmed by the College.

(6) APAO Rates
APAO members are eligible for a discount code. Please contact your APAO member society for the code.

(7) Day Registration Rates
Delegates can only purchase ONE day registration (in person only). If more than one day registration is required, then a FULL registration must be purchased.
One day registration is NOT available for virtual attendees.

(8) Accompanying Partner registration
The Accompanying Partner registration is for non health care professional. It includes access to the Graduation, Welcome Reception and catering in the exhibition hall (no access to Congress sessions).

Also included is the Collection Highlights Tour at the Art Gallery of South Australia on Saturday 2 November at 10:30am (50 minute duration).

(9) If you are attending the AONA Conference as an ophthalmic nurse, please select Non Member and then Non Member – AONA / Ophthalmic Nurse in the registration form.

Insurance of any kind is NOT included in registration fees – it is advised that delegates take out appropriate health and travel insurances prior to travelling. The RANZCO Congress and Congress Office do not take any responsibility for delegates failing to insure.

GRANTS
Medical Student Grant RANZCO offers a select number of reduced-rate registrations for medical students working in Australia or New Zealand who could not otherwise attend the Congress.

The deadline for applications is now closed. Applicants will be advised by Friday 6th September.

Trainee Registration Grant RANZCO offers a select number of complimentary in-person registrations for RANZCO Vocational Training Program participants (RANZCO Trainees) to attend Congress.

Applicants must be current RANZCO Trainees i.e. participating in the RANZCO Vocational Training Program (VTP). Other applicants will be disregarded.

The deadline for applications is now closed. Applicants will be advised by Friday 6th September.

ANZEF Virtual Scholarships The Australian and New Zealand Eye Foundation (ANZEF) is pleased to provide a limited number of complimentary virtual registrations to attend the RANZCO 55th Annual Scientific Congress, from 1-4 November 2024.

Please note that these scholarships are for virtual (online) attendance only (i.e. not for in-person attendance). Live streamed content includes sessions in the plenary room only. Recordings of all sessions will be available on demand within two weeks of Congress concluding.

These scholarships are available to:

  • Ophthalmologists from the Asia-Pacific region (from specified nations below)
  • Members of the Australian Indigenous Doctors’ Association (AIDA), Te Ora, and the Pasifika Medical Association (PMA)
